Gift For Friend Engagement

FATHER OF A CHILD WITH ADHD

"I have a child with ADHD
behavior (my son was and is a piece of bread), but by constant distraction, its no learning, a magnet to have or cause accidents, their indolence (we thought then that it was a bum) and many other small things that did not look like most boys his age. After much thought (and believe me when I say a lot), my wife and I decided to put the case in the hands of a psychologist colleagues to find out what was happening. Months passed, her interviews with teachers and tutors, and family with us. Fill several questionnaires, our son underwent several tests and intellectual tests and even an ophthalmologist to rule out vision problems. His diagnosis was clear: ADHD. What to do from there? We reported what exactly the disorder, its,
hitherto known causes and, above all, its possible treatments. We stopped the world over when he spoke of
medication. How to medicate a child for life? Psychiatry, Psychology ... But that was all that ...? been several years. Is controlled by his psychiatrist, who only watches as it goes with the medication, if he does well and progresses and if, physically, have any side effects. The truth, has little appetite and is a skinny kid, but nothing more. Is also controlled by the psychologist, who helps in the development of his personality, behavior patterns gives us as teachers and tutors, in periodic meetings on how to treat it. Result: our son is perfect, is a child of his age, along with continuing his studies with congratulations of his guardians, with more pals than ever. It is still very busy, but rarely has a mishap. Play sports, play, study, interact and do anything that others do. He is happy because he knows what is happening and the efforts being made to overcome, we appreciate all he and
people are around. Really, is there anyone who thinks that medical to a child not to bother you or that you take it to a psychiatrist and a psychologist because that is very modern? As I said before, are very difficult decisions and as a result, our son is fine. "
