Microtransmitter MAKE YOUR FIRST FM SPY

Meet the following materials:
Q1 - BF494 transistor or equivalent.
MIC - electret microphone - (generally used
recorders embedded microphone).
B1 - 2 x 1.5 V alkaline miniature
R1 - 680 ohm resistor
R2 - 4.7 kΩ resistor R3
- 5.6 kΩ resistor
R4 - 47 ohm resistor C1
- 22NF - ceramic capacitor plate or other type of good quality

C2 - 2.2 nF - ceramic capacitor plate or other type of good quality

C3 - C4
common trimmer - 8.2 pF -
ceramic capacitor C5 - 4.7 or 10μF electrolytic capacitor.
Miscellaneous:
PCB, cabinet mount, batteries
, cable, miniature circuit breaker, etc..

Steps for installing our spy transmitter
a) Start installation: solder bridge, which consists of a piece of stiff wire with bare ends joining the two points indicated by (1) and (2 ) on the printed circuit board of Figure 8. Care that no piece the bridge is not covered with plastic coating.
b) then solder the 680 ohm resistors R1 in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the plate, the 4.7-kΩ resistor R2 in paragraphs 5 and 6 of the plate, the resistor R3 in paragraphs 7 and 8 of the plate and finally, the 47-ohm resistor R4 in paragraphs 9 and 10. These resistors are mounted vertically, as explained in point for obtaining material. Note that the values \u200b\u200bof these components are given by their colorful rings.
c) Next, solder the transistor, observe in what a position, that is, which side is the flat, because if it were reversed, the device will not work. The transistor must be welded at points 11, 12 and 13 of the plate.
d) Now solder the ceramic capacitor C4 of 8.2 pF (between the transmitter and collector of the transistor), take great care in this operation, since the component is very delicate. The solder points on the board are those of
number 14 and 15.
e) To solder the capacitor C2, the procedure is the same: Beware of excessive heat and possible weld spatter. This component is connected at points 16 and 17 of the plate.
f) The capacitor C1 is soldered in the same way that the C2 but in paragraphs 18 and 19.
g) Place the capacitor C5 observing the polarity: (+) terminal should be in the hole 20 and the (-) in the hole 21.
h) to solder the trimmer, the first thought that the reader should take is to check the terminals. If the fit was straightforward, very well, but otherwise they must be soldered on two small pieces of stiff wire. Take a look at the position of the trimmer on the board in relation to the reinforcement. Weld the terminal outer armor in the hole 22 and the innermost in the hole 23. Before welding the first trimmer in position, the technician
must make a connection from the antenna into the hole 24. This is simply a piece of stiff wire, 10 to 15 cm, fine.
note that a possible investment will posicióndel trimmer result in unstable operation of the transmitter
tend to go out of tune.
h) With trimmer soldier, the reader can think of connecting the electret microphone. Note that this component is polarized, that is, which has a terminal (+) and another (-). In case of using a three terminal microphone,
the (+) will go directly to food, the terminal (s) to port 26 and the (-) to port 25. If you use a microphone to two terminals (for which he designed the plaque) are welded two small pieces of stiff wire into the terminals of the microphone and these threads are threaded into holes 25 and 26 of the plate, observe what exhibit polarity. Very careful when soldering these wires as the mic is sensitive and can be disabled with
excess heat.
i) Go now to the preparation of the battery holder. For this you must use your wits or get a small cabinet employees alarm remotes and connect the positive and negative battery mark the holes without taking into account the polarity.
j) The installation will be completed with the welding of the switch at the points indicated on the plate. The reader, as we said, will have the option of removing this component, then placing a bridge between points 27 and 28 of the plate. Once assembled and tested the transmitter assembly, Put the batteries into the holder and plug in proximity to a radio or FM radio at a frequency in the middle of the range. Using a stick cut appropriately, turn the trimmer screw until you hear on the FM transmitter signal. If the FM receiver was a reasonable volume and transmitter nearby, as is done by tuning the speaker will sound a loud whistle, which will be due to acoustic feedback. To eliminate this hiss, simply remove the receiver's FM transmitter. If the signal was captured in various positions of adjustment trimmer choose one in which it is strongest. Speaking at a distance of 10 to 15 inches from the microphone, sound of your voice should be heard clearly on the receiver.
The most common faults that may occur are:
a) The RF signal is picked up and heard a grinding noise in the receiver but to speak into the microphone, if
correct and there are no bad quality or short plate .
b) At any rate hear the RF signal. Check first the position of the batteries, the state where they are and if they do bad contact in the holder. Then see if the coil has no breaks and if the transistor is connected incorrectly. Complete
checking if the capacitor C4 is really the recommended value. If everything is in order, make the installation final unit in its box. The antenna can be rigid plastic and cable length should not exceed 15 inches so that no unstable operation of the transmitter.
